Baggage room. London ?
Calling here ? This ain’t collect, is it ? Oh, all right.
Put him on. Hello ? Do you have
two crates addressed to
the McDougal House of Horrors ? What’s the number
on the checks ?
Never mind that. Tonight the moon will be full.
I haven’t much time. Listen closely.
I’m flying out of here at dawn. Under no circumstances
are you to deliver those crates
until I arrive. Understand ?
Under– Under– Mr. McDougal, will you stop
gargling your throat ? Hey, you’ll have to get your dog
away from the phone. I can’t
hear a word you’re sayin’. You’re silly to call me
all the way from London just
to have your dog talk to me. That’s great conversation.
The guy growls like a wolf.

  1. Thats a great line..How about the gal doctor Lenore Aubert . I have only seen her in a another A and C vehicle A nd C meet the Killer Aubert is in that one also
There is very little info on Lenore Aubert other than her European Roots

  2. "Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein" ….Its blu-ray debut and DVD re-release is scheduled for September 4, 2012 as part of Universal's 100th Anniversary series.

  3. and Vincent Price does the voice cameo at the end of the film ..with the line: "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm the Invisible Man!"

  4. Lon Chaney Jr said in an interview (its here on Youtube) that putting the monsters in these comedy films ruined them, but I still felt as a kid these were scary too, as well as being a lot of fun. I really wish they had made several more Universal Monster gang films like House of Dracula, House of Frankenstein, Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man, etc…I adore these films so much.

  5. I thought I remember the part in the movie when Larry Talbet says to Lou, "You have to help me tonight when the moon is full I turn to a wolf." And Lou says. " So will you & 1,000 other guy's."

  6. I read it somewhere else. At least show some respect to me by not immediately responding bullshit, jackass.

  7. Nice comeback. At least have facts to back up your claim that what I say is bullshit. But we both know you have nothing.

  8. By the way, I checked Jack Pierce's bio on IMDB. It's there for you to read, if you can read, and you didn't have someone type your comment. Either way, get the fuck out of my face (metaphorically speaking).

  9. Also watching the DVD of the movie, the behind the scenes portion mention that Jack Pierce was generally an asshole. He worked without a contract, and Universal fired him and his assistant Bud Westmore took his job. The Westmores are well known in Hollywood. His nephew Michael Westmore was the make-up man for all the modern Star Trek series.

  10. Bad Transformation scene: Animation and Realistic Makeup was slipshod. Compare to  Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man. Makeup was not realistic to boot. The Comic parts were fine.

  11. You know, I hear people have debated whether this is a standalone movie or a sequel to House of Dracula. Because Talbot was cured in House of Dracula, but in this, he's once again the Wolf Man, some people think that was bitten by another werewolf. I think it's a standalone movie.

  12. I'm quite fond of the advancement in makeup between the production of the wolfman and his appearance in this film. The transformation seems to be quite fluid in this film comparatively.

  13. Lou and bud both thought this was the worst script they ever read. Lo and behold…they were just as surprised that it was a huge hit.

  14. A nice try for Larry Talbot to make a long distance call from London to Florida to stop 2 crates from being sent to McDougal‘s House of Horrors, though he turned into the Wolfman before he could hear if his request will be granted.

  15. It hadn't been explained what happened to the nurse who was attracted to Larry Talbot, despite him turning into a werewolf when the full moon rises. In House of Dracula (1945),she was with Talbot in Dracula's house, which got destroyed by a fire while he was battling the Frankenstein Monster after he killed the medical doctor who helped cure him from his condition because the medical doctor was affected by Dracula's blood, which was put inside him by Dracula himself.

  16. What if the Three Stooges would have meet the monsters?(or , on second thought, the monsters would have meet the Three Stooges?).

  17. Most people were confused about how in house of Dracula Larry was cured and he's the wolfman in this one. Well the thing is, this isn't really a sequel to the Frankenstein and wolfman saga, universal wanted to create a new franchise with a combination of horror and comedy by putting 2 comedy legends and the monsters together and it became a masterpiece. But it wasn't lon Chaney Jr's most favorite performance as Larry Talbot/the wolfman because of the stress of too much work on the transformation. This one here was the most stressful and frustrating for him because it took longer than usual for the transformation to complete. Most of the transformation make-up sequences would take about 3 to 4 in a half hours. This transformation believe it or not took about 12 hours to do. I can't really see how or why it would take that long. Plus the make-up was not done by jack Pierce who did the make-up in the previous movies before because he and Chaney couldn't get along with each other and was fired from universal for lack of appreciation. So therefore, this was lon Chaney Jr's not so much favorite performance as the wolfman but he took a lot of pride into his career as the wolfman and enjoyed it so much.

  18. If the full moon didn't rise,Larry Talbot would've heard yes or no to his request not to move 2 crates until he arrives in the states.
